A carrier oil is what it sounds like—think of it like the car you're using to deliver all the good stuff to your skin. Even better when the car is also made out of more good stuff.  Cool Tiger Balms contain beeswax, while our Oil Sticks utilize grapeseed oil. Both carrier oils are non-comedogenic and add shine to skin.

Essential Oils provide high concentrations of plant chemicals in small amounts, through a process called distillation. The point of an essential oil is to trap the volatile compounds extracted from plants, in a non-volatile substance (oil). In this way, we can bottle the scent of a plant for other uses. The concentration of fragrant oils to carrier oils is <x %, but if you have sensitive skin we recommend our balms and sticks in Unscented.

CBD is shorthand for Cannabidiol, one of the many chemicals found in the Cannabis plant. The extracted CBD can interact with our own body's endocannabinoid system, which is a major player in regulation and inflammation. With no psycho-active properties, topical CBD application is favored by those looking for relief without getting "high." Our CBD is sourced from sunny Colorado and third party lab-tested for quality and consistency.
